Jake Cohen brings a unique perspective to his role at Axiom, joining the firm in 2025. A 2013 graduate from Davidson College with a degree in Economics, he also earned a Masters in Global Sports Management from ISDE Barcelona. For 12 years he played professional basketball in Israel, Greece, and Spain, balancing the demands of high performance with financial decision-making at the highest levels of European sport. He was elected by his peers as Vice President of the EuroLeague Players Association, representing players across the continent and honing skills in advocacy, planning, and collaboration. During his tenure, he initiated the effort for bringing player pensions to the EuroLeague, established minimum player remuneration, and helped implement the first pan-European collective bargaining agreement in professional sports.
Now back in the community where he grew up, Jake is dedicated to helping individuals and families build strong financial futures. He lives locally with his wife and two children.
